Zarraffa’s Coffee is looking to franchise its Queensland brand interstate, with northern New South Wales the first destination.
Kenton Campbell, Zarraffa's Coffee CEO, said “We are poised for big things in the next 24 months; with a healthy list of potential franchisees, a new business model in our Drive Thru stores and customer loyalty drawing us out of our traditional areas of operation, now is the time to roll out our expansion.
“Interstate expansion was always on the cards but we had to ensure that we got it right in our own backyard. With our regional successes and need for non-traditional retail sites we have a big job ahead of us just trying to find locations that work for all aspects of our operations.
“With five Drive Thrus now under our belt we are seeking compatible locations to create additional revenue streams for our franchisees and offering more choice to our customers."
“It’s a serious commitment and we have put in the groundwork to ensure that our roll out, where ever it may be, is a smooth and fully supported process.”
The specialty coffee chain has been cited for the fifth consecutive year in BRW Fast Franchise rankings and reports an average store turnover in 2011 of over $900,000.
