Wendy's had introduced a new flavour to its range of ice creams - Liquorice Twist.
Ice cream franchise, Wendy's, is launching a new flavour - Liquorice Twist.

Available in stores from 30 November, the new flavour incorporates a twin twist of black and white liquorice flavoured ice cream, swirled with a liquorice flavoured ribbonette.

"At Wendy's we're always looking to provide our franchisees with fresh and exciting flavours to offer their customers so we're really pleased to be launching a daring flavour such as Liquorice Twist," said Wendy's general manager marketing, Todd Duthie.

To celebrate the launch of Liquorice Twist, the franchise is giving customers the chance to win a year's supply of ice cream as part of the Wendy's Liquorice Twisted Tongue Challenge.

"To enter, customers simply need to buy a scoop of Wendy's Liquorice Twist, take a picture of their liquorice twisted tongue once they've eaten it and then upload the picture to the Wendy's website," Duthie said.

The Challenge closes on 18 December.
