Magazine Vending is launching its first 48 vending machines in Sydney and Melbourne on 30 March as it moves to an exclusive national spread of ACP publications available from vending units at locations such as train stations, airports and hospitals. In regional and remote areas like holiday islands, mining and farm areas, distributors can provide publications at the same price that customers would pay at any retail outlet in Australia.

Magazine Vending, featuring a high profile portfolio including FHM, Ralph, Zoo, Cleo, Womans Day, Cosmopolitan, Dolly, Top Gear and Women’s Weekly, sources locations which can vary from hotels to hospitals, cruise ships to TAFEs.

Master distributors are the first link to a new region, with individual distributors purchasing the units. There are profit opportunities for master distributors from the sale of advertising on LCD screens on the top of the magazine vending machines. Distributors retain the profit from the sale of magazines.

Kate Newman, general manager of Magazine Vending, said “A can of soft drink or packet of potato chips, the typical items in traditional machines, will always be the same week after week. At Magazine Vending we provide a whole new customer experience every week, with brand new gossip, news, features and fashion through our extensive range of over 60 titles.

“We follow up and support with ordering stock and the ongoing administration making sure our clients are gaining maximum return,” she said.
