Appliance Tagging Services is expecting to grow its business across Australia following its rapid growth in the Eastern seaboard. The three year old electrical safety services firm topped the recent BRW Fast Franchises list of fastest-growing franchises by outlets by recording a franchise outlet growth of 191.7 percent.  

Sarah Allen, business development manager, said “We are delighted with debuting on the 2009 BRW Fast Franchises revenue growth listing at number four and number one by outlet growth. We are also incredibly excited that three of the top five franchises are service based franchises; it just goes to show that despite all the hype, Australian franchising is not all about food and retail!  

“Having now established a presence on the Eastern seaboard, we are looking to further develop our brand in New South Wales and Queensland, and also to expand in to Western Australia and South Australia. With enquiry rates picking up every day, I think the much talked about franchisee-drought is breaking, and we are confident that we can maintain our exceptional growth throughout 2009,” Allen added.
