Brand management company Pacific Retail, who boast Kick Juice Bars, GO Sushi and Love Coffee & Crepes in their portfolio, are looking to expand both within Australia and overseas. Currently with 40 franchise stores in three states of Australia, Chris Jordinson, director of Pacific Retail, revealed plans for future expansion of all its brands.
“Our current growth plan is to expand through both acquisition and brand development. We have a dedicated sales team looking at speaking with new potential franchisees in both Australia and overseas, while we are currently speaking with a number of other brand systems to come and join the new exciting team,” said Jordinson.
Only founded in 2008, Pacific Retail aims to find the most effective and constructive way to survive and thrive in the ever competitive franchise market.
“Australia has many different franchisors operating franchise systems throughout the country and the one thing that hinders these great systems from succeeding is size,” claimed Jordinson. “By operating between 20 and 30 franchise stores you are always playing catch up and you don’t have the power of the larger systems when you’re negotiating leases, trading terms, supplier arrangements and speaking with new franchisees.”
Jordinson explained, “Pacific Retail Management aims to bring together a number of those smaller systems and really capitalise on the economies of scale. The more fantastic and successful brands we can bring together the better the system for our franchisees and the more we can really help our franchisees succeed.”
