The National Franchise Convention 2009 is just one week away but there is still time to register for the sector's main event of the year.

Taking place this year in Perth, NFC09 is a two day event organised by the Franchise Council of Australia and featuring a line up of expert speakers and franchising leaders who will thrash out key issues in the sector.

Hear the latest about regulation and what the ACCC has in store from ACCC deputy chair Dr. Michael Schaper; listen to the economic forecast team  from NAB discussing whether or not people will have money to buy franchises; and find out what Australia’s leading demographer Bernard Salt will say in his keynote presentation on the dramatic population changes taking place across the country.

A social calendar of events runs alongside the NFC09, culminating in the industry awards gala, the MYOB Excellence in Franchising Awards on Wednesday 21 October.

A legal symposium starts off the proceedings on Monday 19 October.
