Mobile retail franchise Snap-on Tools Australia has moved its head office and distribution centre to larger premises after 19 years in Seven Hills, Sydney. The business packed and relocated 1,200 pallets of stock, which equated to 60 semi-trailer loads of equipment, product and furniture in just two days and was still be able to deliver orders without any delay.

The new premises at nearby Arndell Park provide an extra 3,700 sq m of warehouse space, a designated area for product training and seminars, an improved tool service centre, and larger office space to cope with growth in staff numbers, particularly in the diagnostics and franchise departments.

In 1991, Snap-on was a $16 million company, servicing 65 franchisees across Australia. Today, the company has an annual turnover of more than $65 million with 160 franchisees in Australia and New Zealand; an increase of over 300 percent in turnover and 140 percent in franchisees.
