PoolWerx held its National Franchisee Awards at the Hyatt Regency Coolum on August 4. Thirteen national awards and 12 regional awards were awarded to PoolWerx franchisees who have made outstanding contributions over the past year in areas including entrepreneurship, courage in business and brand excellence.

"We have a network of over 300 franchisees in Australia and New Zealand and this is our opportunity to say thank you for their efforts and business success," said PoolWerx CEO, John O'Brien.

The 'Franchisee of the Year' award is based on outstanding work ethic and business results as well as contributions to the PoolWerx franchise group. This year it was awarded to Dubbo franchisees Brett and Jenny Singleton, who were chosen out of a possible 200 candidates. The couple were also named 'Regional Franchisees of the Year' for the Sydney West region.

"The entire PoolWerx Dubbo team has worked hard to earn the successes we have had and to be acknowledged by our franchisor nationally is a real honour," Brett said.

The 'Most Improved' award was presented to Gerard and Shann O'Sullivan from PoolWerx, Coffs Harbour. Glenn and Kerry Garrett from PoolWerx, Seaforth were named the 'Outstanding Team' and the award for 'Entrepreneurial Excellence' went to Pat and Rhonda Henson from Gladstone.
