There is still time to take advantage of the Franchise Council of Australia’s early bird registration offer for the National Franchise Convention 2009, which takes place for the first time in Perth, in October.

Register by close of business tomorrow, Wednesday 5th August, and save up to $440: an FCA member registering for the full package will pay $1250 as opposed to the standard rate of $1650; non members pay $1650 instead of the full $1990 price.

The NFC09 takes place at the Burswood Entertainment Complex in Perth, starting on Monday 19 October with a legal symposium, followed by two full days of conference and concluding with the MYOB Excellence in Franchising Awards on the night of 21 October.

Included in the line up are keynote speakers such as Ian Han, the founder of the Hans Cafe chain and Bernard Salt, KPMG partner and commentator; and a host of concurrent speakers including Jane Meredith, the co-founder and managing director of jewellery franchise Secrets Shhh, Karli Furmage, the global compatibility manager of Gloria Jean's Coffees International, Subway multi-unit franchisee Brett Higgins and Professor in and Head of the School of Business Law and Taxation in the Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales, regular Franchising magazine columnist Andrew Terry.
