iFastway is the courier franchise's new and improved app.

Courier franchise, Fastway Couriers, is complementing its brand refresh with a new, more user-friendly app, complete with parcel tracking information.

iFastway, downloaded approximately 5,000 times last year, has been redesigned to reflect Fastway's new look and the evolving needs of users.

"We're constantly looking for new ways we can make the latest technology work for our customers.  Our iFastway app offers everyone an easy, convenient and reliable way to track and trace their parcels – anywhere, anytime," said CEO Richard Thame.

"It's also extremely useful when placing orders, with an inbuilt courier price and service calculator.  This allows customers to correctly and conveniently identify the appropriate prepaid label to use on a parcel.  The app will even display a delivery time frame based on the input destination and weight."

Additionally, the app will list parcel browsing history, giving bulk customers the ability to quickly refer back to a previously tracked item, and will display a signature as proof of delivery for all parcels.

Fastway announced its brand refresh late last year, with the roll-out having already taken place in several metropolitan areas and remaining franchises due to be completed early this year.

"The last few weeks have seen some phenomenal changes occur within our business, with our new look rolled out across hundreds of vehicles, the procurement of new depot signage, and the launch of our brand new website," Thames saidlast year.

As well as redesigned vans, uniforms, signage and marketing collateral, the franchise is also boasting a revitalised logo.

"Fastway's current logo was penned almost thirty years ago, it's vital that our branding reflects the positive changes taking place.  Refreshing our image communicates that we are committed to fostering further growth, progression and ambition within our company.

The iFastway app is compatible with all iOS devices, and can be downloaded for free via the iTunes store.

Not much use while the couriers still dont use the scanners or collect the signatures upon deliver. Still need to ring find actual where abouts of consignments. Rebrand all you like...but the service needs the overhaul
