Pizza franchise, Eagle Boys, has been named Joint Winner of the 2010 Australian Business Award for Retail Excellence in recognition of its recent growth, achievements and contribution to the industry.

Eagle Boys shares the title with Crust Gourmet Pizza Bars, after competing with 186 other entries from a range of Australian private and public companies and organisations.

During the past year, Eagle Boys has opened more than 40 stores and recorded more than a 15 per cent increase in sales on the back of a menu overhaul.

"This award is an amazing achievement for Eagle Boys and gives us the motivation and energy to continue to strive for innovation and excellence," said Eagle Boys CEO, Todd Clayton. "Our goal is to be Australia's number one pizza maker and we believe we can achieve that by making sure we offer what pizza lovers are looking for. That's why we invest heavily in research and development to create innovate new products and services."
