A Diploma of Franchising to start in 2010 at the William Angliss Institute in Melbourne has been developed in response to the growing number of opportunities for potential franchises.

This pilot course aims to provide participants with invaluable skills and knowledge in establishing and managing a franchise.  The Diploma of Franchising will have a strong emphasis on applied learning and is the only course in Australia to focus on the areas of food service and accommodation management.

Students will learn about developing relationships, customer service, budgets and financial plans as well as legal issues and the development of sustainable policies and procedures. By the end of their studies, graduates will gain a nationally recognised qualification along with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate a franchise in a variety of different industries.

The course is a two day workshop in Melbourne with students continuing the course online to allow them to fit their studies around their work commitments.

Eligible students must have franchising or retail work experience or have completed a Certificate 3 qualification.
