A record number of franchisees attended fitness franchise Contours' National Conference on the Gold Coast last week, which included discussions of achievements and goals, preparation for ongoing success and the announcement of the National Studio of the Year.

One hundred and forty franchisees attended the two day conference, where Contours Woonona in Southern New South Wales was named the National Studio of the Year.

State Studio of the Year awards were presented to Contours Cairns (QLD), Contours Wallan (VIC), Contours Mawson Lakes (SA), Contours Rockingham (WA) and Contours Woonona (NSW).

"Each Studio of the Year is determined by the highest average monthly scorecard over a year period," said Contours CEO, Justin Wilshaw.

"The Contours business continues to grow and our franchisees are testament to that success. We congratulate each of the award winners on their passion and dedication to Contours and look forward to the year ahead," he said.

Other awards presented at the conference's Business and Success Dinner and Gala Award Event were:

• Investment in People Award – Contours Bowral
• New Partner of the Year – Contours Arundel
• Turnaround Studio of the Year – Contours South Morang
• National Marketing Award – Contours Cairns
• Corporate Staff Member of the Year – Belinda Edwards
