Club Academy to train future franchisees

Home loan and mortgage broking firm, Club Financial Services, has introduced a new recruitment and training initiative set to assist the franchise to double its broker numbers before the end of the year and boost its long term growth plans.

The Club Academy is a two week course based at the company's South Australian headquarters and is an opportunity for budding brokers to brush up on the necessary qualifications and kick start their careers.

Club Financial services director, David Garner said the company currently has 25 franchises across Australia, and hopes that the Academy will help to increase this number over the next few years.

"By ensuring our new recruits have appropriate levels of training and understand the Club's core principals, we are laying the ground-work for them to become the franchisees of the future," he said.

Open to recent Club recruits, current brokers and anyone who wants to enter the mortgage broking and loan industry, the Academy will assist new brokers meet industry standards and existing brokers to further their professional development.

"Demand for qualified, ethical and well trained mortgage brokers is already high as interest rates continue to rise and people seek the best deal on their home loans and mortgages. The industry is set to grow at a significant rate over the next few years, creating the ideal opening for new brokers to enter the industry."

The first week of the Academy will facilitate Certificate IV in mortgage broking, while the second week will allow for accreditations with major lenders as well as sessions including business management, marketing and loan applications and processing.

The Club Academy will run in Adelaide from 6 - 17 September, 2010 and is open to current and aspiring brokers from around Australia.
