Building continues for Quest apartments

Quest Serviced Apartments has begun construction at its newest multi-million dollar development, Quest Heatherton in Victoria. Construction also continues at Quest Palmerston and Quest Cheltenham.

The franchised network's chairman, Paul Constantinou, said, “Quest is excited to forge ahead with three suburban developments across Melbourne and Darwin. Quest Heatherton, Quest Palmerston and Quest Cheltenham will each offer business travellers a home away from home.”  

Each of the properties will employ during construction between 250 and 300 people, and is expected to be rated 4.5 star accommodation. The properties are about 25kms southeast of Melbourne’s CBD and will cater for local industry, including the engineering, plastic, chemical, food, beverage, metal fabrication, printing, aerospace and marine industries.    

The $12 million Quest Heatherton venue will have 60 studio, one, two and three-bedroom serviced apartments over two levels with an on-site gymnasium, BBQ area and conference facilities.

On completion the $14 million Quest Cheltenham property (artist's impression shown here) will feature 60 studio, one, two and three-bedroom serviced apartments. The building will comprise two basements plus seven levels – four of which will be made up of serviced apartments. Property features include an on site gymnasium, day spa, conference facilities and basement car parking.  

In the Northern Territory the $14 million Quest Palmerston property investment will have 84 studio, one, two and three-bedroom serviced apartments. The building will comprise a basement plus nine levels. Property features include an on site restaurant, gymnasium, swimming pool, conference facilities and basement car parking.

Just 22kms southeast of Darwin’s CBD, Quest Palmerston will be the third Quest property to open in the Northern Territory. Its clientele will be drawn from ocal industries including the public administration and safety, retail, construction, healthcare, education, manufacturing, wholesale and cultural and recreational industries.
